ENX
is the abbreviation for "European Network Exchange" and is the
communications network of the European automotive industry.
By using the ENX network, the manufacturers and their suppliers are able
to securely communicate and exchange even the most sensitive data via
a range of accesses from 64KBit/s bandwidth up to 36MBit/s (access types:
ISDN, ADSL, SDSL, ATM, Frame Relay). The high level of security is maintained
through ENX's Certified Service Providers which operate the networks's
infrastructure separately from the public internet.
