|ENX is the solution commonly used by the European Automotive Industry whenever the secure exchange of critical development-, purchasing- and production control data is required. The ENX Managed Security Services which can be seamlessly integrated within a cross-company concept as well as the service levels of the subjacent network fulfil the highest requirements regarding quality and security. To the group of registered and connected users the network itself is, however, as open and flexible as the public Internet.
ANXeBusiness, Business Communication Company, KPN International, Open Systems, Orange Business Services, T-Systems, Telefónica, Türk Telekom and Verizon Business offer IT security and the network access as a bundle to the users. All accesses have two collective main features: every user is able to communicate with virtually every other user while running only one single physical access and each of these accesses has identical security features.
As of March 2013 more than 1.700 companies in over 30 countries use the globally available ENX.
Founded in 2000 the ENX Association, a legally-independent union of the companies and national associations Audi, BMW, Bosch, Continental, Daimler, DGA, Ford, Magna, PSA Peugeot Citroën, Renault, Volkswagen ANFAC (Spain), GALIA (France), OSD (Turkey), SMMT (UK) and VDA (Germany) supervises the performance of the certified service providers, operates central services of the ENX network and supports its providers whenever they have to solve problems efficiently.
