Türk Telekom enters the ENX Certification Process.
The Communications Network of the European Automotive Industry prepares to certify a new and strong local service provider in Turkey.

Frankfurt am Main, Oct. 17 th, 2008 / sg

Today Türk Telekom, Turkey’s biggest telecommunication provider has signed a certification contract with ENX underlining its strategy to offer its services within the Turkish and European automotive community.

This marks the initiation of a two-phased certification process with strict quality standards defined by the automotive industry. After this is completed (expected for Q1/2 2009) Türk Telekom will be the sixth certified service provider along side BT Infonet, France Telecom, T-Systems, Telefonica and Verizon to hold an ENX license.

”We believe that the certification of Türk Telekom brings us an important step ahead in strengthening and supporting the presence of the ENX network in one of the focus countries of the European automotive industry”, says ENX managing director Lennart Oly.

The continuously growing circle of ENX users, currently more than 800 automotive manufacturers and suppliers, profits from a successful certification by further enhancing competition between the providers and extending the portfolio of services offered throughout Europe.

More than 800 companies of the automotive industry and the aeronautics branch in over 30 countries use the globally available ENX (August 2008).
