Prof. Dr. Armin Vornberger, Director Technical Services of Wilhelm Karmann GmbH, was unanimously voted new president of the ENX Association during the ENX board meeting in Frankfurt on November 3, 2005.

He is the successor of Mr. Hans Joachim Heister (Ford-Werke GmbH), who held the office since 2001. The members of the ENX Association thank Mr. Heister for his longtime activity and the significant contribution to the success of ENX associated herewith.

The presidium of the ENX Association furthermore consists of Prof. Dr. Gunter Zimmermeyer (Robert Bosch GmbH) and Jacky Cousin (Association Galia). The election of Vornberger shows, that ENX is no longer just a standard, the usage of which is stipulated by the manufacturers but more and more becomes utilised as a tool by the automotive suppliers to actively reduce complexity and costs.
